  • 1)Right click on your desktop and create New Shortcut.
  • 2)In the location field, type the following exactly as shown: %windir%\system32\SHUTDOWN.exe -s -t 01
    Click next and give it an obvious name
  • 3)Now cosmetics. Right click on your new shortcut and select Properties, Change icon. I'm sure you can make up your own mind as to what icon you want displayed _
  • 4)And you're done! But to make it a true one-click operation drag it onto your quicklaunch bar:
